Jon Gottshall is a photographer in Portland, OR. currently exploring the Portland Harbor, the last 10 miles of the Willamette River, aka the Portland Superfund Site.
His older work utilizes an experimental photography method he has developed into a unique process: printing on acetate, scanning that image, and combining it with the original image for ethereal, otherworldly compositions driven by light and the darkness of night.
This exhibit consists of landscape photographs of Portland's most industrialized and troubled corridor, the last 10 miles of the Willamette River before it merges with the Columbia River.
